CAPABILITIES

Our Process Menu

CMC runs ten primary plating and coating chemistries across four facilities, with both rack and barrel processing available for most. The full capability matrix is below. Click any finish to see properties, typical applications, and the standards we can meet, or get in touch and we’ll help you choose the right process for your part.

Processing Method

Rack Plating

Parts are held in fixtures so each piece is plated individually. The right choice for larger parts, parts that can't tumble, and parts that need uniform thickness in a specific orientation.

Processing Method

Barrel Plating

Many small parts are tumbled together inside a perforated drum. The right choice for high-volume hardware, fasteners, clips, washers, and other small parts where throughput and cost-per-part are the constraints.
